"I started painting 20 years ago when my marriage was breaking up and really could give my feelings free rein on canvas. At that point I was slashing lines on canvas with a palette knife.
I am working on paintings denoting relationships at the moment and have a gentler approach, most of the time!
I took classes with Pieter vermaak for 10 years but also with Derrick van Rensburg and others.
I spent a month in Paris at the Cite des artes ."
