Jennefer Ann Gordon Grant was born in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) in a town called Salisbury now known as Harare where she took up art as one of her main subjects at school. She has travelled around the world and lived in Mauritius and Dubai and then moved to a quiet town called George for 15 years where she found herself and her passionate love as a Professional Artist. She started with hand painted crafts and her paintings at various markets in the Garden Route from the Sedgefield Scarab and Wilderness markets.
She and her husband are now settled in a little village called Cintsa East, Eastern Cape where she works from her quiet little Studio with joy and enthusiasm with her 3 little dashunds and 3 cats.
Her parents ( Dieuwie & Piet Holthuysen now in their 80’s and still painting) are both very well-known Landscape and Wildlife artists from Zimbabwe helped her discover some of her artistic talents.
In her spare time she loves to travel around South Africa with her husband and enjoys taking her own photographs to study and work from.
She has donated a lot of works to various charities especially animal welfares as animals are very close to her heart and need us to be their voices.
