"Sannette was born in Laingsburg in 1967. Her father was a police officer which meant that she lived in a number of small towns all over the former Cape Province. She matriculated in Carnarvon in the Northern Cape. After school she did a secretarial diploma in Kimberly. She proceeded to work at Volkskas Bank and later at Klein Karoo Corporation in Prince Albert. She then moved to Graaff-Reinet in the Eastern Cape where she worked as Auctioneer and bookkeeper.
She married Dawie Fourie in 2000 and moved to Marloth Park. Here she also qualified as an estate agent.
Sannette has always had a live interest in art. She did fabric painting for many years. In 2006 Sannette’s son MJ was selected to represent The South African President Development team for Martial arts at Groningen in the Netherlands. Sannette started painting to raise the money for the tour."
