FLORENCE BIENNALE 2019
The "One World One Face" project created the "Face of Florence"
After a full day of photo shooting (November 17th, 2018) in Florence, and after a few weeks of work in studio Florence Biennale is pleased to present the "Face of Florence".
This is the result obtained by the young creative agency Studio Adoratorio from Brescia, together with the photographer Erminando Aliaj, creator of the "One World One Face" project. Erminando overlapped all the photographic shots until he got a single image, which represents the visual identity of the communication campaign produced by the Florentine studio Kmzerofor the next Florence Biennale - Ars & Ingenium. Toward Leondardo da Vinci's Legacy of Similitude and Invention, which will take place from 18 to 27 October 2019 in the Spadolini Pavilion at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence.
The image, obtained by overlapping several hundred photographic portraits, looks like a young person, with dark eyes, full lips and long hair, but also with a shadow of beard in the lower part of the face, which tends to create a veil of mysterious suggestion for that face, which represents the variety of the contemporary society.
Florence was the last step in the long process that is leading "One World One Face" across the globe. The first stage was Tokyo (Japan), then it was the turn of Porto (Portugal), Berlin (Germany), Copenhagen (Denmark), Milan, Amsterdam (Holland) and then Florence. When the project is finally completed, we will finally have the face of humanity inhabiting our planet.
But that's not all: the Adoratorio team will replicate the project inside the Fortezza da Basso during the XIIth edition of Florence Biennale (next October), involving the participating artists and visitors attending the event to obtain the "Face of the XIIth Florence Biennale ".
